I'd like to use my kaypro II as a dumb term for my hp300.
I've got a null-modem cable between the two.
Kernel has dca0 configed in (rs232 port) at scode 9.

echo "hello, world" > /dev/tty0
and I get that text on the term side. - so my link works

/usr/libexec/getty std.9600 tty0

and I get a login prompt on my telnet session!

I installed mgetty-1.0.0.

/usr/local/sbin/mgetty -s 9600 -r tty0

and the program exits quitly, doing nothing.
Turning on debugging does nothing.

What to do?
