Maybe someone out there happens to know the answer of the top of their
head - as Martin Lally, our sys admin, hasn't got the relevant cdrom
in the machine dxbook points to, I can't get at "DEC Fortran for DEC
OSF/1 AXP Systems". The problem simply is: I write an unformatted
binary file from a fortran program and want to fread it in from a c
program. I get jibberish because I think the fortran inserts a header,
the question is: how long is the header? I know this isn't NetBSD, but
if anyone knows it is someone on this list..
