Is there any mechanism similar to or using sysctl that will allow me to
change the daylight savings "status" of the kernel offset from the
internal clock of my machine? I tried to find a variable name that I could
change with sysctl, but couldn't see anything. I'd really love to avoid a
kernel recompile if I could.

TIA,
