Hi folks,

I`ve been working with netbsd sind the 1.0 release and I`ve never had
a problem with it. But since I updated from 1.1 to 1.2.1 I get crasy.

First the technical details:

i386 architecture
Pentium 200
128 MB RAM
Adaptec 3940UW PCI
4 x 4,3 GB IBM Wide SCSI Harddiscs
SCSI CDROM 20xspeed
a original DEC 24xxx PCI Networkcard.
PCI VGA card

The only special I4ve in my kernelconfig ist EXTMEM option to
make the memory usable. For the same reason i set NKPDE to 16
and increased the NMCLUSTER count.

An now to the Problem:

I export a directory, say /export/test via nfs and mount it on the same
machine under /mnt. Then I type in the following:

cd /mnt
dd count=10240 bs=1024 if=/dev/zero of=testfile

after that it takes less than a secound and the machine freezes.
You can type characters and commands witch are echod on the screen
but nothing fires up. :(

if you for example type "reboot" it takes about 45 min before the command
is executed.

Since my first experience with this error I`ve installed netbsd a couple
of times from scratch, tested it with 64 MB Ram only

Mounting over the lan results in the same problems.

I`ve no idea what do test next.
