Hi,
In the i386 port, you can use the pcvt console driver (instead of pccons).
It has virtual console support.  To do this, remove the pc0 device, and
uncomment the vt0 device from your kernel config, and recompile.  You'll
also have to make the /dev/tty* entries, and add lines to /etc/ttys.  All
of the pcvt stuff is under /sys/arch/i386/isa/pcvt.
