Xosview version 1.4.3alpha is currently in alpha/beta test. For
those of you unfamiliar with xosview, it is a graphical
performance meter that displays CPU usage, memory usage, net
usage, etc. in an easy-to-interpret form. Please visit
<http://lore.ece.utexas.edu/~bgrayson/xosview.html> for more
information about xosview and this alpha release. It still
requires the use of GNU make to compile (this will be remedied
soon by dumbing-down the Makefiles to work with both versions of
make).

  New features since 1.4.2:
Now uses autoconf, so installation is easier.
NetBSD version now has a disk meter.
Preliminary support for stipple masks, for those of you with
      1-bit displays.

If it compiles and runs on your platform or if you would like
to join the xosview mailing list, please visit my test-page for
xosview compatibility
(http://lore.ece.utexas.edu/~bgrayson/compatibility.html).

Thank you for your interest and help with the alpha version
of xosview.

  Brian Grayson, xosview-NetBSD maintainer
