You might want to take into consideration the fact that 1.2.1 isn't an
official release *yet*, AFAIK.  Alot of things are missing from the
packages; there isn't even an i386/INSTALL file, yet.

If you can't wait, get 1.2, unless that is what you've already got.
I don't know when 1.2.1 will be official, you might want to check the web
page.
