While trying to install NetBSD 1.2.1 I encounter a few problems.
My hardware consists of this:

Intel P133
Generic MotherBoard
Adaptec 2940UW
Seagate 2.1gb Barracuda (Ultra Wide)
3com 3c509 ISA Ethernet Card

When ftp'ing base121.tar.gz from a box on my LAN I get hard errors
reported from the kernel from fd0a. I have no idea what is causing this.
Nevertheless I run Extract on it and it seems to untar fine. After that I
go to get com121.tar.gz and right when I login with the ftp program I get
a kernel panic. It was some error with ffs_write.

I would appreciate any help I could get.

Thanks for the time
