G'day,
I experience problems running pppd on my dialin links (2). It appears
that the users can log in but when proxying the new address the
address already exist and hence the route for this connection fails.
dingo# Sep 14 12:27:02 dingo pppd[3134]: pppd 2.3.0 started by Pbill,
uid 3018
Sep 14 12:27:02 dingo pppd[3134]: Connect: ppp2 <--> /dev/tty01
Sep 14 12:27:09 dingo pppd[3134]: Couldn't set interface
address: Address already exists
netstat -rn reveals
203.0.179.243 link#1 UHL 0 14 - ep0
203.0.179.243 0:20:af:6b:20:99 UHLS2 0 0 - ep0
instead of
203.0.179.243 203.0.179.241 UH 0 141 - ppp2
203.0.179.243 0:20:af:6b:20:99 UHLS2 0 0 - ep0
what am I doing wrong?
