I went and got a 2 Gig disk, and even got it to work on the seconday
IDE.
(On an intel Zappa board, the second IDE controller is IRQ 15.)

My initial though is to divide it into a boot area of around 16 - 20
megs, 32 megs of swap, and then one big partition for the rest, since
I basically plan to do image twiddling.

Can I still have a blocking factor of 8192/1024, or do things need to
get bigger or more partitions made?
