The installation note stated that it supported AIC 289x[w], so I assumed that 
it did.  When I took your advice and checked the message, it did not appear
in the start-up message.  So, I brought disk home and attached to my 
UltraStore 34F.  I am going to try and install it tonight.  Wish me luck and
thanks for the advice.
