Subject: Boot floppy won't recognize AHA2940

I can't find this in the bug list so I assume I'm
alone.

I can't get the installation boot kernel to see my
Adaptec 2940 PCI card.  The kernel reports an unknown
card in the slot and even correctly identifies its
class and subclass.

Any ideas?
