After many attempts and little progress at making NetBSD 1.1 (i386
port) use my external modem, I've deceide to try an internal one. The problem
is that my mouse is using /dev/tty00 (as far as I can tell) which is also
(again, as far as I can tell) the /dev for the internal modem.

So, due to this, here are my general questions:
1) What /dev should I be using in my /etc/XF86Config for the mouse? It is
plugged into a 9 pin port on the back of the computer. There is another such
port which is physically labled COM2.

2) What /dev should I have used for the external modem? Is there a /etc file
that needs to be changed (and, if so, how)? Is there any reason that my "cu -l
/dev/tty01" command would have made the mouse the source of input? (When I
moved the mouse, the screen would get filled with strange characters, but the
pointer for XFree86 wouldn't move.)

3) What /dev should I use for the internal modem? How should I configure it?
(Assuming that it needs any configuration.)

	All answers appreciated. Thanks.
