Today is a day for me to put my foot in my mouth repeatedly, but I'll
try answering just one more...

Last time I tried checking, there was a binary on the distribution
site that "just worked" with NetBSD. Our audio interface is pretty
standard across our drivers, so that isn't an issue -- the apps use X
for the video, so that isn't a problem either. YMMV.
