I finally got it to work.  It turns out that the disklabel had the fstype
as `unknown' and this worked find under 1.0,  under 1.1 this had to be
set to `MSDOS' for it to mount.  It now works again,  but I wish I had
figured it out before I copied all the binaries to floppy to install!
