Not speaking for i386 Solaris, but for SVR4 on a Pentium based NCR
machine, the SVR4 emulation that is in NetBSD seemed to be work well
enough to allow the SVR4 'mwm' to run.  I borrowed the libc shared
library from the NCR box, and used the shared libraries that are in
XFree86 2.1 compiled for a i386 SVR4 for the X libraries, as the NCR X
libraries wanted to use streams.
