I used to run this at home but it became to much of a hassle:

in.rlogind: ALL: ((/usr/etc/safe_finger @%h; /usr/ucb/rusers -l %h; /bin/echo "C
lient: %c"; /bin/echo "User: %u") | /usr/ucb/mail -s %h-%d neil) &

on my SunOS box.
