Could someone point me to a starting point how to get
a pmax machine working?

I have an old DS3100 laying around running Ultrix.

I suspect that I won't have a chance to run
Decnet/Ultrix and Lat protocol, will I?

How difficult would it be to get X running? It's a 
plain CFB machine.
