Just a quick question - is there any way to do this (setting the timezone
to MST rather than PDT) short of rebuilding the kernel?

I am running NetBSD 1.0 straight out of the box right now.

Also, are there any newsgroups that cover NetBSD, or is all the
action in these mailing lists?
