I've seen it once or twice (but not yesterday), I too have attributed it to
local or near local nameservers. I recall positively that one time sun-lamp
could be reached but not netbsd.

As another couriosity (sp?), I seem to have problems getting all messages
from the lists I'm subscribed to. It's easy to get around the problem by
fetching the archive from lamp, but quite inconvinient.
