Added 6 MB of memory to the box yesterday, and went from a very stable kernal
to one that now panics at the drop of a pin. I (of course didn't increase
swap) went from 4M to 10M. Is the lack of matching swap space causing this?

I can't even save a core dump. It tries, but panics immediately.

suggestions?
