What could the cause of:
ed0: NIC memory corrupt - invalid packet length
be ?
It only happens as soon as I connect the cable to the card.
(I'm trying to install NetBSD on another box.)
I've configured it to irq 10, port 300, mem 0xdc000, which
is the params I use on my other box.
The card is found properly with the above values.
It's an Asus PCI/I-P53NP4 board with a Spea S3 card on irq 9 and
a builtin wd0c on irq 14.
I've set caching to write-through, and have disabled any shadowing.

(I first tried it with 1.0-boot-kernels and am now trying it
with current-boot-kernels.)
1.0 gives above error.
current gives more info:
ed0: NIC memory corrupt - invalid packet length 9728
ed0: length does not match next packet pointer
ed0: len 0000 nlen 2600 start 0c curr 0d next 00 stop 40.
The machine works fine under DOS.

Any hints ?
