Hi,

 I have a problem connecting to the modem using tip. I have just
installed NetBSD-1.0. It worked fine with NetBSD-0.9. Tip comes up
with "link down" after a few seconds. I tried stty -f /dev/tty01 clocal
but still nothing. I noticed that if I use Xwindows to open that port as
the mouse com port then it works as long as I am in Xwindows. So what is
the magick trick to get tip working with the modem?
