Haven't look at the 1.0_BETA installation, have you? :-)

NOTE THAT THE NetBSD 1.0 DISTRIBUTION DOES _NOT_
SUPPORT INSTALLATION VIA FLOPPY ON MACHINES WITH ONE
FLOPPY DRIVE.  If you only have one floppy drive,
you'll have to use a different method of installation.
This will be fixed in the future.

I _think_ you could fake this by copying everything off of the install floppy
onto your HD (including a kernel from the kernel-copy floppy), and then just
booting from your HD.
