I will inform FreeBSD project with the finger manual [the who ;] is
ok], OpenBSD is in both case is correct.
I have CSRG Archive that includes four CD-ROMs, created by Dr.
Marshall Kirk McKusick. I use It as a main reference to almost all man
pages that I'm interested With.
Also recommend Warren Toomey TUHS archive:
http://minnie.tuhs.org/TUHS/archive_sites.html
That includes almost all "root" informations related to "man heritage".
If You wish I can examine all "history" parts in man pages that are
included in the base NetBSD installation.
