I guess that this is the right spot to post...

As I split my time among this and that, I'm trying to figure out how
the NetBSD PCMCIA drivers work (or, in the case of the only one that
I care about, don't work).

Somewhat curiously, the NetBSD hardware reference library page says
nothing about PCMCIA.  Is this deliberate for some reason that is
not apparent to me?  Or is it an oversight?

One page that looks useful for this---but for which I am not in a
position to really judge yet---is at:

"cs" is an acronym for "Card Services" in this context.  The page
is GNU/LINUX centric, but is better than nothing.  While the page
itself may not be very helpful for NetBSD people, it contains
several promising links...  (^&
