I would like to point out that the "Short Guide to NetBSD" is also
available in German from
http://www.lindloff.com/netbsd/handbuchintro.html

I personally have not yet had the time to look through it, but I believe
that Thorsten Lindloff, who did the translation, did carefully review it
several times and that it seems to me rather complete.  Maybe it should
be included in http://www.netbsd.org/Documentation/ ?
