This fixes the first issue with current Linux-based builds when using
a very recent compiler. Thanks!
In the meantime, I just threw in builds for all commits in range for
the second issue:

This is caused by this commit (using the GitHub mirror):
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
commit f88d09aab4c876a1ee99b189569ffb59aed9863e
Author: mrg <mrg%NetBSD.org@localhost>
Date: Sun Oct 4 03:28:41 2026 +0000
Prefer using ${.PARSEDIR} over assuming that ${.CURDIR} is src/lib/libc.
=20
Mostly this changes ${.CURDIR} refs into either ${.PARSEDIR}, ${LIBCDIR=
},
or ${NETBSDSRCDIR} refs.
=20
Set LIBCDIR earlier to ensure it's available always.
=20
This will be used to build a smaller libc (eg, with no assert strings.)
=20
Tested builds on atari, x86-64, arm64, and vax.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The issue simply seems to be that there's a doubled "compat" in the
COMPATDIR for (some?) builds.
Just checked, I actually see that issue with builds done in a NetBSD
amd64 VM as well: Just looking at some, amiga/m68k, sparc/sparc,
vax/vax, amd64/x86_64, sparc64/sparc64 and hppa/hppa are all affected.
@Matthew: You explicitely mentioned at least some of the targets that
fail for me, maybe that's related to _how I invoke_ `build.sh`?
My build script template invokes it like this:
log_execute tools ./build.sh "${{extra_args[@]}}" -P -U -u =
-m "${{build_machine}}" -a "${{build_arch}}" -E -D "${{destdir}}" -R "${{re=
lsdir}}" -T "${{tooldir}}" tools
log_execute libs ./build.sh "${{extra_args[@]}}" -P -U -u =
-m "${{build_machine}}" -a "${{build_arch}}" -E -D "${{destdir}}" -R "${{re=
lsdir}}" -T "${{tooldir}}" libs
log_execute release ./build.sh "${{extra_args[@]}}" -P -U -u =
-m "${{build_machine}}" -a "${{build_arch}}" -E -D "${{destdir}}" -R "${{re=
lsdir}}" -T "${{tooldir}}" release
log_execute iso-image ./build.sh "${{extra_args[@]}}" -P -U -u =
-m "${{build_machine}}" -a "${{build_arch}}" -E -D "${{destdir}}" -R "${{re=
lsdir}}" -T "${{tooldir}}" iso-image || true
log_execute install-image ./build.sh "${{extra_args[@]}}" -P -U -u =
-m "${{build_machine}}" -a "${{build_arch}}" -E -D "${{destdir}}" -R "${{re=
lsdir}}" -T "${{tooldir}}" install-image || true
log_execute live-image ./build.sh "${{extra_args[@]}}" -P -U -u =
-m "${{build_machine}}" -a "${{build_arch}}" -E -D "${{destdir}}" -R "${{re=
lsdir}}" -T "${{tooldir}}" live-image || true
`log_execute` along with the first argument is just doing log
handling. `${extra_args[@]}` are usually empty. However, I always
provide port, architecture, destdir, releasedir and toolsdir. I gues
sone of these settings interferes here...
