 You just filled in n/a in the Environment section of this PR,
 but in this case, it might be, as for me:
 
 "man nc" includes:
 
      -c      If using a TCP socket to connect or listen, use TLS.  Illegal if
              not using TCP sockets.
 
 "Illegal" is poor wording, you are in no danger of imprisonment if
 you use -c when not using TCP, but the entry is right there in the
 man page.
 
 But perhaps it isn't/wasn't in some other version, which is why knowing
 which version you were looking at is important, and not "not applicable".
