FWIW, this system had a pretty useless "acpi" until riastradh@'s re-work for acpi_ec.c and friends in july 2023. this is the first time i've seen a problem on it since then, though it has not often been up as long as it was -- about 3 weeks -- since the acpi fixes. .mrg.
