The issue I reported in PR 56737 also seems to affect the installation of NetBSD in a virtual environment. In my most recent encounter I found it trying to install NetBSD 10.0_Beta from 6/27 into a KVM environment in LinuxMint. However, both NetBSD 9.2 and 9.3 installed and ran fine in this setup.
