>Description:
Entering X sometimes crash.
Even if X or xdm works, when changing consoles (ctrl alt fX) it crashes. And then it restarts.
Done some testing with the pc and another client connected through ssh.
I.e. starting X, then quitting, everything freezes on the main screen. Though doing ps -A with ssh shows no X is running.
Starting X again (from ssh) redraws the screen and everything "works" again.
Doing "Quit" from i.e. ctwm does the same.
Changing virtual consoles does the same too.
I.e. when xdm is running it quits and then restarts. If changing screen quickly the system may crash too (not tested recently).
>How-To-Repeat:
Probably an hardware related problem.
Anyway: login; startx; "Quit".
>Fix:
Managing the crashed system from a ssh connected third system.
