 Indeed, but the most important thing (IMO) is to somehow make the
 easy and flexible solution more prominent, something along the lines
 of:
 
 	./build.sh -V HOST_CFLAGS=-std=gnu11
 
 We can't keep up with various compilers and changing defaults, especially
 for old branches.
