Update: With native X11, hdmi works fine, no slowness issues.

Following parts of the PR are still valid:

1. The laptop monitor eDP shows very faint movements right after dispaly
mode switching during boot or after startx.

2. Touchpad doesn't work, not recognized. Brett Lymn is possibly taking a
look.

3. Less important, but curious why things didn't work with modular X11.
