Install NetBSD in a VirtualBox VM, using the default settings.
I am using VirtualBox 6.1.34r150636 on Windows.
Shut down the VM.
In VirtualBox, change the CPUs from 1 to 2.
Start the VM.
Type some text.

The repeat rate is about 30 characters/second, which is fine.
The initial delay is around 50 milliseconds though, which makes it difficult to type single letters.
