 This is no longer the case - performing the same test now causes
 sysinst to report errors, as it should:
 
        Status: Command failed
       Command: progress -zf /sparc64/binary/sets/kern-GENERIC.tar.xz tar --chroot -xpf -
        Hit enter to continue
 
   /netbsd: Truncated tar archive
   tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors.
