>Description:
Hello,
I have an acer aspire E5-551G-F9NM with 16 GB RAM and FX7500 CPU.
I wanted to install netbsd using the netbsd-9.2-amd64-install.img.gz file. It gave me a "panic: cnopen: no console found" error and failed (entering the debugger).
Prior to that a drm error is given. This is related to the radeon car i have (R7 M265). The error message is as such:
kern error: [drm:(/export/netbsd/src/sys/external/bsd/drm2/dist/drm/radeon/radeon_bios.c:725)radeon_get_bios] *ERROR* Unable to locate a BIOS ROM
radeon0: autoconfiguration error: error: Fatal error during GPU init
radeon0: autoconfiguration error: unable to attach drm: 22
This radeon error should not affect anything i believe, since some people (on dmesg - https://dmesgd.nycbug.org/index.cgi?do=view&id=5042) had the same issue but were able to install i believe).
I will try installing from CD, as sson as i can get a CD-R to write on :)
Any help would be appreciated.
>How-To-Repeat:
Burn image to a usb with the RawWrite tool given on the netbsd site. And boot from the usb.
>Fix:
I do not have a fix on the problem.
