 That's redundant, we link all those cases with libpthread. it's just
 that one of those cases doesn't understand libpthread stubs to mean the
 same thing and ships its own variation for errant OSes:

 I can't really claim netbsd doesn't need it, because it doesnt provide
 stubs for all those.
