 tstile is, most of the time, just what happens when things pile up
 behind other more interesting deadlocks. Though not always.
 
 cvs is probably causing it, because cvs does tons of silly metadata
 operations at high speed.
 
 Is this wapbl, or not? If not, they'll be synchronous and that might
 be causing extra excitement.
