It would be extremely beneficial to have the ability to specify the
system-wide module load path (sysctl variable kern.module.path) at
boot time, overriding the default value.
Note that, to get maximum benefit of this change, the user-provided
path would need to be available very early in the boot process,
before any modules specified via "load" commands (either to the
boot loader's own command line, or in /boot.cfg) are "pushed" to
the kernel.
