The handling of scoped IPv6 addresses (in particular, link local addresses) in the KAME IPv6 stack is severely under-documented, especially the fact that the routing cache needs the scope embedded in the address.

Some information from Chapter 2.9 (Handling Scope Zones) of ?IPv6 Core Protocols Implementation?, especially an ASCII-art form of Figure 2-12, should be included in ip6_scope.h or a README.scope file.
