>Description:
When /etc/rc.d/cgd asks for the pass phrase to decrypt a partition, the final keymap is not set. But it is not possible to enter a good password or phrase (>= 32 arbitrary random characters with ASCII code [33 ... 126]) when the input is not echoed and the keymap is not correct. The same problem occurs when the is a file system issue and the system boots into single user mode to repair the file system. It asks then for the root password.

So setting the keymap should be done as early as possbile (that means, that the tool should be in /bin or /sbin and not in /usr/... and the keymaps should be in /etc/... and not in /usr/share/... since these file systen may not yet be mounted or may be corrupted).

It is only acceptable for the NetBSD boot prompt that the keymap is not correct.
