 this has nothing to do with kernel compiles :)
 
 
 i found adding "-mcpu=arm10" or earlier fixes this particular
 assembler warning (note -- it doesn't break the build.)  arm11*,
 cortex*, etc., all trigger it.  probably something to put in
 ARM_APCS_FLAGS for the 32bit parts of compat/arm/oabi/bsd.oabi.mk.
