It is possible that this could have happened due to tmpfs readdir problems 
or perhaps a race condition -- both were recently fixed in -current.  Would
you like to upgrade and try to reproduce this again?

Otherwise, I think this PR should be closed.  There is nothing we can do
right now as there is no data to debug or even suspect where is the issue.
If you will experience something like that again - just fill a new PR.
