>Release: NetBSD 6.1_RC3
>Organization:
>Environment:
System: NetBSD/x68k 6.1_RC3
Architecture: m68k
Machine: x68k but affects all ports
>Description:
dhcpcd 5.6.2 now requires hostname(1) command
http://cvsweb.netbsd.org/bsdweb.cgi/src/external/bsd/dhcpcd/dist/dhcpcd-hooks/30-hostname.diff?r1=1.1.1.6&r2=1.1.1.6.6.1
but not all ramdisk environments have hostname(1) command and procfs.
>How-To-Repeat:
start dhcpcd(8) without hostname(1) and procfs.
---
:
hostname: not found
forking to background
forked to background, child pid 13
---
>Fix:
Also try "sysctl kern.hostname" (on NetBSD)?
Add "PROG bin/hostname" in src/distrib/common/list.dhcpcd?
(not sure if duplicated entries in lists are okay though)
