 Sorry, the original description is not totally correct.
 
 I attempted `startx` in different cpu configurations, 10 attempts in each
 configuration, the results are (number of allocated CPU VS chance for
 `startx` to work)
 
 1 CPU  - 100%
 2 CPUs - 50%
 3 CPUs - 100%
 4 CPUs - 70% (plus occasionally, the issue happens when startx quits)
 6 CPUs - 0%
 8 CPUs - 0%
 
 Host CPU is an Intel i7 Q740 1.73GHz.
 
 VMware workstation is on version 8,
