        Installing NetBSD 6 BETA2 works. installboot options 
ioaddr=0x3f8,console=com0 have been set via shell during install.
        When booting from disk the ffs_v1 loader seems to be able to load 
/boot, but /boot is not functional. It tries to boot garbage
        and "boot netbsd" also result in an attempt to boot garbage.

        This is a regression from NetBSD 5 which works without issues.

        install NetBSD 6 BETA2 in SOEKRIS NET5501. set loader options 
ioaddr=0x3f8,console=com0.
        boot from disk and watch it fail in /boot as above. the ffsv1 secondary 
boot shows the same
        symptoms.

        from looking the the source of /boot the access to the initialized data 
section does not seem
        to work as expected.
