>Environment:
NetBSD 6.0 beta (could not output uname -a because it froze while trying to
boot)
>Description:
Tried to run NetBSD 6.0 Beta (downloaded from
ftp://ftp.dk.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/iso/6.0_BETA/NetBSD-6.0_BETA-amd64.iso) on a
qemu vm in ubuntu 10.04 with tap device.

Boot freezes at ACPI CPU stage.

Even tried with 'boot -1' as advised here:
http://www.mentby.com/Group/netbsd-users/netbsd-6-amd64-beta-iso-sysinst-halts.html,
but, in my case, still freezes at ACPI CPU loading stage.

>How-To-Repeat:
Install NetBSD 6 Beta in qemu vm in ubuntu 10.04 (lucid) and start the machine
with a command like:

$ sudo qemu-system-x86_64 -m 256 -net tap -net nic -cdrom
/backup/Downloads/iso/NetBSD-6.0_BETA-amd64.iso -drive
file=netbsd6.qcow2,index=0,cache=writeback,media=disk -boot d
>Fix:
The one described (boot -1) in
http://www.mentby.com/Group/netbsd-users/netbsd-6-amd64-beta-iso-sysinst-halts.html
didn't work in my case, so unable to output the uname -a message and dmesg,
too.
