You mean: on updates, check if localcipher in /etc/passwd.conf != sha1,
if so ask:
"If you do not have a strong reason to keep ${oldcipher} for encryption
of local passwords, I would love to fix it (to sha1) for you.
Shall I fix it?"
And then just edit that line?
