        I can find manpages for ntpd(8), ntpdate(8), ntpq(8), etc. but
    no manpage for the ntpd.conf configuration file.

        It seems there is no man formatted documentation in the ntp 
distribution.
    Maybe we could copy that from FreeBSD?
    Would be better than nothing.
